2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe

The new C-Class coupe – too elegant star – comes on the Auto Show in Geneva for the premiere – and in June 2011 to the dealer.

The series is as good as complete: The two-door coupe, whose prices are not yet available, the program of the Stuttgart perfectly. Besides sedan and station wagon and a sporty coupe is now coming to market – on the same floor pan. Thanks filigree roof structure, the vehicle does, however, much slimmer. The roof line itself is crouched by 4 inches, the other dimensions are same as the sedan – with a few little things.

The gasoline engine range includes two 1.8-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with 115 kW/156 hp in the C180 coupe and the C 250 Coupe 150 kW/204 hp. The C350 coupe is replaced by the 306 hp (225kW). With the 2.1-liter turbo-diesel C 220 CDI are the coupes (125 kW/170 hp) and C 250 CDI (150 kW/204 PS). Standard, it is a start-stop technology, a seven-speed automatic is available (included in the C250 and C350 with 7G-Tronic Plus). Consumption has been reduced: the 306PS petrol engine is 6.8 liters, the 220CDI indicated with 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers. Four-wheel drive is not programmed yet.

Those who like sports, gets an optional AMG package, which provides additional incentives optics. A real AMG version is in preparation, but then comes later.
The vehicle itself is a 4-seater, the back there – after going past the fixed B-pillar, only room for 2 people – this is planned to be generous. The rear side windows are fixed way. The C coupe gets technically the new multimedia system Comand Online, as in the C-Class facelift – including the entire front interior is like the C-Class facelift. As a novelty, Mercedes also here the favorable Euro-GPS MAP pilot of Becker, a fully integrated system that can be controlled via the audio system 20 CD (supplement good 900 euros, but then with TMC-pro – without Bluetooth connectivity convenience telephony. costs € 417 extra, there are map updates for 3 years free from the internet).

At the prices we expect prices to start the 34,000 €, .. as compared to the previous pricing policy of the Group, and the view of the competition more than realistic. More details and pictures coming soon.
